Laitan oman veikkaukseni hyvissä ajoin kun voi olla etten pääse koneen äärelle vähään aikaan. Sunderlandin puolustus on kotona rautaa, joten pahalta näyttää ennakkoon ajateltuna. Mutta kukaties valkoiset venyvät hyvällä yrityksellä vähintään tasapeliin.

Mieltä jäi vaivaamaan, mistä asti Sunderlandia on mustiksi kissoiksi sanottu - eihän peliasukaan musta ole.
Sunderlandin saitilla on perinpohjainen selostus lempinimen taustasta. Itselleni tutumpi "Rokerites" jäi historiaan, kun seura siirtyi Roker Parkilta uudelle stadionille.

Tapaninpäivänä ottelutuloksia lontoolaisessa hotellissa silmäillessäni silmät aukenivat hämmästyksestä suuriksi teksti-tv:n löytäessä Leedsin pelin. Komea vierasvoitto Sunderlandista, joka vielä syksyllä käsitteli kokovalkoisia miten tahtoi hakiessaan pisteet Elland Roadilta. 3-2 vierasvoiton arkkitehteinä kokovalkoisille häärivät kuitenkin nyt Lennon, Deane ja Joachim.

Veikkauskisassa kaksi rohkeaa veikkasi Leedsin vierasvoittoa ja niinpä sekä JVTK että Dacourt palkitaan kierroksella runsailla pisteillä. pegg0 löysi muutaman muun tavoin Deanen maalintekijäksi ja kiilasi 2-2 -tasuriveikkauksellaan kärkikolmikkoon.
