Sysimustan tammikuun jälkeen vie tie Villa Parkille kovakuntoisen Aston Villan vieraaksi. Villalla on alla kaksi komeaa voittoa, viimeksi kaatui "paikalliskilpailija" Leicester tämän omalla kotikentällä selvin numeroin 5-0. Villa vahvisti rivejään siirtoikkunan aikana Newcastlessa Robsonin kuvioiden ulkopuolelle pudonneella Nolberto Solanolla. Villalta puuttuvat ottelusta loukkaantumisesta kärsivä ykköstykki JP Angel, sekä pelikieltoiset McCann, Whittingham ja Delaney. Solanon pelikunto on myös kysymysmerkki.

Leeds-kokoonpanossa odotettavissa muutoksia kun Mark Viduka palaa kokoonpanoon. Samoin vammoistaan toipuneet Radebe ja Batts ovat taas Eddien käytettävissä. Uusin lainahankinta Stephen Caldwell kärkkyy myöskin paikkaa kokoonpanosta. Mikäli tulokas nostetaan suoraan avaukseen joutunee Leedsin tammikuun pelaajaksi valittu Matthew Kilgallon väistymään penkille.

Villa voittanee, mutta Leeds taitaa sittenkin pyristellä tiukasti vastaan.

Olisipa hienoa ottaa pisteet veikkaamalla yhtenä ainoista voitto leedsille, mutta tässä pelissä ei liene teoriassakaan mahdollisuuksia, villa on aivan liian kova nykykunnossaan..

Pöh.. Minun osaltani veikkauskisa on jo käytännössä menetetty, joten veikataan 0-3, Viduka x2, smith

Tekisin ihan mitä vaan (vaikka johdan alasti sitä sinfonia orkesteria) jotta niitä pisteitä tulis. Siis Leedsille.
Joten veikataan nyt sitten "trendikkäästi" 3-0 turpiin O´Villalta.

Normaalioloissa vieraspiste olisi arvokas, mutta nyt tarvittaisiin voittojakin.
