Sunnuntaina televisiokameroiden eteen juoksee kotijoukkueen lisäksi sarjajohtaja Wigan Athletic, joka johtaa sarjaa kolmen pinnan erolla ennen Readingia. Wigan ei ole kokenut tappiota sitten elokuun 24. päivän ja sillä on alla vakuuttava neljän ottelun voittoputki. Menestyksen salaisuus on ollut tälle tasolle läpeensä laadukas materiaali ja sarjan tehokkain kärkikaksikko Jason Roberts / Nathan Ellington. Parivaljakko on iskenyt tälle kaudelle jo yhteensä 21 maalia.

Leedsin rivejä vahvistaa sunnuntaina nähtävästi ainakin David Healy ja kukaties myös Don Hutchinson, joskin jälkimmäisen pelituntuma lienee vielä hieman hakusessa vaikka lainasiirto toteutuisikin. Matthew Kilgallon palaa puolustukseen Butlerin kärsiessä vielä pelikieltoaan.

Aika rohkea veto veikata tähän kotivoittoa, mutta uusi hankinta kärkeen saattaa tuoda kaivattua piristystä isäntien otteisiin ja kukaties siivittää Leedsin arvokkaan päänahkan ottoon. Wigan ei pääse Elland Roadilla helpolla.

Pitää laittaa veto hyvissä ajoin tulille, koska eihän sitä koskaan tiedä milloin tämä kone taas tekee temput ja menee täysin jumiin. Tuon takia jäi edellisen kierroksen veikkaus jättämättä. No kuitenkin:

Leeds-Wigan 2-1 taisteluvoitto...

Pitkästä aikaa TV-matsia tarjolla, toivottavasti parempaa menoa kuin
edellisellä kerralla kameroiden ääressä. Helsingin Sports Academyyn
suunnistaa taas nippu valkopaitoja, Wiganin kannattajia on varmaan
vähemmän paikalla... Smiley
