Deane olikin vain lyhytaikainen ratkaisu. Kelpo kauden pelasi kuitenkin. Toivottavasti saa peliaikaa Mustissa Kissoissa (vaikka selkeästi varamieheksi hankkivat).

No johan kävi taas ovet.

Kaippa KB tietää mitä tekee, mutta vaihtuvuus on hirvee. Kauan ei anneta aikaa näyttöihin.
Toivottavasti nämä ostokset on sitten sitäkin varmempia tapauksia.

Deanoa en olis kyllä vielä laskenut...

Siirtoruletti on siis alkanut:

Leeds United have today completed the signing of striker Rob Hulse from
West Bromwich Albion for a fee that could rise to £1.1m dependant on
future success.

The 25-year-old was delighted to commit himself to the club for the next
three seasons by signing until the summer of 2008.

Tämä on oikeinkin hyvä uutinen, saatiin kunnon target-kaveri jolta hoituu
maalintekokin...

Oikein odotan Hulsen ja Healyn partnershippia, jos vaan Blackwell joskus
siirtyisi 4-4-2:een. Tuntui oudolta, että WBA:ssa Hulse jäi esim. Horsfieldin
taakse nokkimisjärjestyksessä. Noh, meidän etu - tästä on hyvä jatkaa ...

United Agree Terms With Defender

Leeds United have agreed personal terms with England under-21 left-back Dan Harding.

The Brighton and Hove Albion defender is out of contract at the end of the month and
will complete his move to Elland Road on July 1st, having signed a three-year-contract.

kukapa ei tollasta kaveria haluaisi.
mr Hart osoitti forestissa osaavansa nuorten pelaajien kehittämisen/kasvattamisen.

Aaron Lennonin siirto spurtsiin näkyy olevan enemmän kuin lähellä, hinnaksi mainitaan £1m jolla osaksi rahoitetaan Brightonista siirtyvän Dan Hardingin hankinta.

Tuo huono uutinen Lennonista vahvistettiin Spursin sivuilla (hinnasta ei mitään mainintaa tietenkään, kai se on se £1M):

Lennon deal agreed

The Club is delighted to announce that we have agreed a deal with Leeds United to sign Aaron Lennon, subject to a medical and personal terms.

Aged 18, he made 27 appearances including 19 starts for Leeds in the Coca-Cola Championship last season.

We played a small part in Lennon creating history in August, 2003, when he became the youngest Premiership player ever, after coming off the bench for Leeds at White Hart Lane aged 16 years and 129 days old.

Born in Chapletown, Leeds, Lennon came through the Academy system at Elland Road and was named the club’s Young Player of the Year last season.

Seuran ainoa laituri laitettiin lihoiksi, olisiko Hardingin hankinnan rahoitusta? Jos muistan oikein, niin vasen laituri oli prioriteettina hankintalistalla - ei kai Harding ole kuitenkaan tämä mies?

Lennonin soppari kaiketi olisi ollut katkolla vuoden päästä, joten kaupan ajoitus on ymmärrettävä. Huolestuttaa vaan se, että kenen kautta maalitilanteet luodaan. Tietty hankintoja lienee tulossa lisää, mutta eikös Mr Bates juuri valitellut pelureiden liksapyyntöjä?

Viime kauden trialisti taas tyrkyllä...

Baranyos certain of Leeds

Hungary international midfielder Zsolt Baranyos is certain he will sign for Championship outfit Leeds United.

The 29-year-old underwent a trial with the Elland Road outfit last November and reportedly impressed manager Kevin Blackwell.

Baranyos is now out of contract with Sopron and will travel to Leeds shortly to undergo a medical and prove his current form.
"We've kept in touch and now it's 99 percent certain they will sign me.

"I'm flying to Leeds on June 27 to have a medical. I'm going to train for a week then I'll have the chance to shoot.

"The tests will be tough, but hopefully I'll meet the requirements and get a contract."

Veskariosasto sai 2-miehen eli Ian Bennett saapuu
seuraan. Veteraanimiehiä (33 v.) - taisi muistaakseni
pelata meitä vastaan liigacupin semeissä 1996?

Mahtaakohan solmu aueta siirtojen suhteen ja
muitakin pelureita tulla? Olisi tietty hyvä jos
miehistö olisi kasassa ennen pre-seasonia...
