Barnardin voi jättää laskuista. Leeds teki tarjouksen, mutta Southampton paremman. Barnard siirtyy etelärannikolle.

Michael Doyle haluaisi kovasti liittyä LUFC:n vahvuuteen

Leeds yrittää vielä saada, vaikka Fifa on kieltänyt siirron.

Austraalian fudisliiton puheenjohtaja Lowy on aikeissa ostaa LU:n.
Aika mielenkiintoinen vaihtoehto Batesin tilalle.

MOYES PREPARED TO GAMBLE ON BECKFORD
Leeds striker is Toffees target

BECKFORD: Leeds hitman
10/04/2010

DAVID MOYES is willing to take a gamble on Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford.

The Everton manager wants to add more firepower to his squad this summer - and the 26-year-old is available on a free transfer.

Beckford handed in a transfer request after scoring the winner against Manchester United in the FA Cup third round at Old Trafford.

Moyes has been monitoring his form and Everton will offer the forward a route into the Premier League.

Beckford handed in a transfer request at Elland Road after scoring against United, but withdrew it before the end of the January window.

He agreed to stay at Leeds until the summer, but Simon Grayson has accepted that he is on his way.

... ja muutama kommentti.. jos joku jaksaa lukea...  Undecided

Hes been bordering on absolute dross since January. A prima donna who thinks he is better than Leeds United, he has put no effort or desire into any of his performances since handing in a transfer request.

Before January he scored 20 goals in 27 games, Since handing in his request he has scored 7 in 20 games with only 4-5 of them coming from open play. The fans are against him, and he is against the fans, and shows that with certain gestures he has made on numerous occasions in that time.

In hindsight we should of sold him during the transfer window and bought (oh wait Bates is chairman).....'acuired the services free of charge' for a 'replacement'. The idea was keeping him, he would score the goals for promotion. HE HASN'T, his workrate and effort has diminished. He is becoming a passenger.

For 4 months he has been bordering on being one of the worst performers in a White shirt. Surely with doubts about his ability anyway he is lightyears away from being anywhere near a Premier League player?

You have scored your goals Jermaine, thanks for everything you did prior to and beating Man U. But you dont look like you 'want' to score anymore for this club anymore. We don't want players that don't want to play for this football club. So good riddance at the end of the season.

By Tommy White.. Posted April 11 2010 at 2:20 PM.

I was at yesterdays game ...... Take him! He's a bone idol lazy player who thinks he is Leeds united! Grayson should stop playin him now and play gradel and beccio up front

By Matt.. Posted April 11 2010 at 1:51 PM.

For the record Beckford had put in a transfer request before, not after the mighty whites beat the old enemy in their own back-yard! Players come and go, but the club goes marching on together.

By Trickster.. Posted April 11 2010 at 1:17 PM.

The turbulence caused by the on/off transfer saga at Christmas may have caused Leeds to miss out on automatic promotion... was it really worth keeping a player who has not had a good run of form since the FA Cup run? Time will tell but I'll be more than happy to see a mediocre league one footballer move to the Premier League - I feel sorry for the Everton boys whose frustrations will grow at the amount of glaring chances he misses!!

By DisiWhite.. Posted April 11 2010 at 12:42 PM.

IF he can go let him, we don't need players at a football club that don't want to play for us, we have other players who don't want to wear the leeds shirt and beckford isn't one sooner he goes the better

By Simon Collett.. Posted April 11 2010 at 11:36 AM.

as a loyal leeds fan i would love beckford to leave he is not interested in playin for leeds utd anymore since christmas he is just turn up so ta ta beckford and gie grella or gradel a good run in the team

By cdm.. Posted April 11 2010 at 11:09 AM.

Moyse has an eye for talent. He's taken on players before from the lower leagues. Look at Tim Cahill, & the late unlamented Lescott as examples.

If Moysey thinks he's worth a shot, especially on a free, lets hope we get him!

By Ron.. Posted April 11 2010 at 10:49 AM.

Give Grella the same amount of chances as Beckford gets ans am sure he will be forgotten about...
A player is not a club, Hasselbaink was greedy he left, they all come and go

By Parma.. Posted April 11 2010 at 10:42 AM.

stay at leeds dont think your good enough or the right type of player to wear the beloved blue shirt

By efc forever.. Posted April 11 2010 at 9:24 AM.

Reply abd malik..Hope your not saying Fulham are a better footballing side than Everton.Because April Fools been and gone.

By Ray.. Posted April 11 2010 at 9:31 AM.

Beckford has undoubted ability, but his attitude stinks. Which is why he's been rejected from the top flight before. And why he's upset his team-mates, manager & Leeds fans!

Don't know if it's a mental thing but unless he changes his approach, would be amazed if he lasted 5 minutes in the PL.
Maybe with the right manager who's not prepared to tolerate his childish moods?

By Mark.. Posted April 11 2010 at 8:48 AM.

Go where the heck he wants as long as he is out of Leeds. He thinks he's a premier player so lets see, truth is he's an average championship player who looks good in the lower league. Just go now and, we have Becchio and Gradel and Grella who will easily step up to the mark. Beckford will not be missed

By Rob.. Posted April 11 2010 at 8:00 AM.

Go to Fulham on this summer transfer, Beckford, you will play football more there than Everton

Olisikohan meille uutta omistajaa tiedossa?

Tietty vuosien varrella on kaikensorttista sheikkiä huhuiltu, joten suurella varauksella näihin pitää suhtautua.

The Leeds squad contains two Australians - Patrick Kisnorbo and Neil Kilkenny - and Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka, Paul Okon, Tony Dorigo and Jacob Burns all had stints at Elland Road.

Ihan sivuhuomiona vaan, etten muistanut laskea Dorigoa ausseihin, kun pelasi kuitenkin Englannin A-maajoukkueessa.
