Stoke ei ole mahduttanyt Michael Tongea 25-sakkiinsa ja ent. Warnockin alainen on mahdollisesti siirtymässä
lainalle Leedsiin.
Muistan kaverin takavuosilta ja silloin ainakin oli mies paikallaan Sheff.U:ssa.

Uusimpana lainahuhumyllyssä on leicesterin Neill Danns.. Leeds on kysellyt hänen saatavuuttaan,
sekä viimeinen tieto stokesta on että Michael Tonge on jätetty pois youth team- matsista voidakseen

Leeds United are close to landing Belguim International winger Anthony Vanden Borre after the free agent turned down a move to Brazilian club São Paulo.The 24year old has spent the last few days in South America negotiating with the club however it is believe he rejected the clubs offer as he was concerned what effect playing on another continent would have on his International future.Leeds are believed to have already tabled a contract offer with the players representatives. He has been capped over 20 times for the Belgium national team and is capable of playing as both a right back and a right winger.With most of the top teams in Europe already into their season and their squads assembled Borre will find his options of a new club limited however it remains to be seen if he is prepared to drop into the championship or if a better offer comes in.

Reports today are suggesting that a deal has been agreed upon between Peterborough and Leeds regarding the transfer of George Boys to the Whites.



According to some sources, Leeds United are set to bring in the winger on loan for the rest of the season, with a view to a permanent transfer set in place for the summer with a fee of 750,000 pounds placed on Boyd's head. The Posh had transfer listed their star man during the summer's transfer window after Boyd had failed to agree a new deal with the Championship side. However, no bids were formally submitted, despite the winger being linked to Leeds United, Ipswich Town and Burnley.




Now, it seems that Neil Warnock may finally have solved his attacking crisis if a move for Boyd is confirmed. An injury to Ross McCormack had left Warnock searching for another attacker, which saw the Yorkshire club being linked to a number of free agents and loan signings.




27 year old Boyd has played in all 12 of Peterborough's games this season, depsite being on the transfer list, scoring 3 times. Boyd has been with the Posh since 2007, making nearly 250 appearances for them in that time.

Leeds United have lined up the double signing of Stoke City forwards Kenwyne Jones and Cameron Jerome as part of a push to achieve promotion to the Premier League this season. The pair, both sparingly used by Tony Pulis of late, are expected to sign on loan within the next fortnight with options to turn their moves into full transfers.

The signings, which will significantly add to Leeds' tightly controlled wage bill, are indicative of Leeds majority shareholder Ken Bates' confidence in bringing substantial new investment into the Championship club.

While Bahraini finance company GFH Capital currently holds an exclusive agreement to take over the club, it has failed to complete the deal and has lost the confidence of key elements of the Leeds United support with quixotic public statements. Once the agreement expires, Bates will be free to agree a sale of shares to other interested parties on condition Leeds repay a £2million loan to GFH Capital.

Bates invited an affluent American investor to Leeds last month to assess the club's potential. Understood to have a personal wealth of more than $250m, he remains keenly interested in supplanting GFH Capital once legal complications have been overcome. A second, separate, Middle East group is also considering attempting a purchase.
