Ryan Hall liittynee tänään meidän miehistöön.. Mies on Englannin kenttien Mika Ojala.
Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has backed Ryan Hall to grasp a second chance under him with the pair set to meet today to finalise Hall’s transfer from Southend United.
Warnock confirmed that a deal to bring the 24-year-old to Elland Road on loan with a view to a permanent move in January was “just about there” with Friday night’s Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday looming.
Leeds have been working to sign Hall for a number of weeks, stepping in after Blackpool failed with a bid to take the winger to Bloomfield Road, and Warnock is poised for a reunion with a player he previously managed at Crystal Palace.
Hall turned professional with Palace and made his debut under Warnock in 2007 but he was allowed to leave Selhurst Park less than a year later following off-field issues and loan spells with Crawley Town and Dagenham and Redbridge.
He joined non-league Bromley before returning to the Football League with Southend in 2010. Hall finished last season as Southend’s top scorer, claiming 14 goals.
Warnock told the YEP: “I’m seeing him today and we’re just about there. It’s an opportunity for both of us.
“He’s a proper winger who can play on both sides and he definitely has goals in him. But it’s a great move for him too and I hope that’s how he sees it.
“He’s similar to a few players in that he made mistakes in the early part of his career and, to be honest, that’s why I got rid of him at Palace. But he obviously listened to what was said at the time because he got his head down, went to Southend and built himself up again.
