Kisnorbolla on wikipedian mukaan achilles tendon rupture injury eli luulisin akillesjänteen repeämä. Leikattu lokakuussa 2010. Akillesjänteen paranemista on viivyttänyt ilmeiseti tulehdus (infektion) ja ollut USA:ssa kuntoutuksessa.Palannut Leedsin harjoituskeskukseen Thorp Archiin tammikuussa. Grayson haluaisi tietysti pitää miehen, mutta sopimusneuvottelut aloitetaan vasta kun on todistanut parantuneensa loukkaantumisesta. Arvoitu paluu helmikuu/maaliskuu 2011.

Sen verran vielä tuosta operaatiosta, että kyllähän se leikattiin pian vamman jälkeen jo maaliskuussa -- ote haastattelusta...

Phil Hay, Yorkshire Evening Postin United- toimittaja, joka edellä kerrotun jutunkin on kirjoittanut, kommentoi Kisnorbon tilannetta viime viikolla livechatissa seuraavasti:
...I get the impression that he's still some way off. Every time we ask Grayson about it, he basically says that it'll be a bonus if Kisnorbo is available before the end of the season.

Tästäkö apua keskikentälle? Nuoreksi pelaajaksi kokemustakin löytyy, mutta mutta ehkäpä sittenkin joku, jonka rokonarpinen naama ja 300 Premiership-peliä toisivat ryhtiä joukkueeseen.. Taitaa vaan vaihtoehdot tässä vaiheessa kautta olla vähissä.

Kyllähän se puolustaminen on koko joukkueen homma, ettei siitä pelkästään puolustusnelikkoa voi syyttää. Kulmapotkuissa miesten merkkaaminen ja sijoittuminen on ainakin ollut surkeaa, että siitä olisi helppo lähteä tiivistämään omaa maalia.

Ilmeisen lupaava taitava pienikokoinen pelinrakentaja ja kuvailtu juuri Kilkennyn kaltaiseksi. Mutta vähän ihmetyttää kun näitä keskikenttämiehiä on ennestään aika liuta (Sam, Watt, Nunez). Nunezkin teki reservipelissä 4 maalia! Kun taas tuo alakerran nelikko ei ole ainakaan minua vakuuttanut (mitä nyt täältä käsin on voinut saada käsitystä).

Jatkossa Killa varmaan penkille siirtyy vaikka tänään onkin avauksessa. Toivotaan että Bannan on aavistuksen parempi joka osa-alueella kuin Killa. Samantyyppiset pelaajat kuitenkin kyseessä..

Ihan hyvä että saatiin tuohon keskikentän keskustaan vahvistusta. Siinä ei ole ollut paljon vaihtoehtoja. Sam, Watt menee laidoille ja Nunez ei taida vain mahtua Simonin suunnitelmiin....

Muutkin vahvistuu...
Leedsin kiikarissa useaan otteeseen ollut Nathan Delfouneso siirtyy Burnleyyn takaa-ajamaan meitä.

Nottingham taasen hankki Kris Boydin.

The financial year end for both companies is 30th June 2010.

Turnover £27,446,000 (£23,535,000) up 16.6%
Profit £2,072,000 (£15,000)

Leeds United made an operating loss before amortisation of player's registrations in the sum of £670,000 which can be wholly attributed to the cost of gaining promotion to the Championship as payments made to players/ management staff as a result of the success. A total of £7,706,000 was paid to players and football management staff in the 2009/10 season.

Gate receipts increased by 30.8% to £11,732,000 and merchandising increased by 12.0% to £5,509,000.

The number of full time employees decreased by 5 to 184 and, in addition, there is employment for approximately another 710 employees on a part-time basis.

The balance sheet shows net assets of £7,140,000. In addition, as at the 1st September 2010, the senior football management estimated the value of the playing squad at £6,667,000 which is not included in the above.

Koko kausi oltiin hyvin mukana nousu kahinoissa mutta surkea loppukausi pilasi kaiken. Noh, ei tarvi jännätä playoffeja.... Huikea, huippu tasainen ja tasokas sarja... Ensi vuonna uudestaan...
