Pidennetty pätkä Nurnberg -matsista. Potkun pari oltiin koko ajan perässä. Toki vihulainen pelailee Bundesliigassa
ja kun on saku niin aina kova. Silti olisi odottanut parempaa vastusta.

Ei ole antanut pre-season paljon ilonaiheita.. ehkä suurin se että Bates potkaistiin pihalle (uhkaa nyt oikeustoimilla).
Pettymys on kova myös uusien omistajien kyvyttömyyteen vahvistaa joukkuetta. Saas nähdä mikä soppa tästä syntyy

Olimitenoli, mutta yleisesti ottaen hyvä fiilis kannattajien keskuudessa, myös mulla;
- vanha kuona hallinnosta on hiihetty pois.
- manageriin löytyy luottoa.
- lippujen hintoihin on tullut huojennusta.
- ainakin eka peliin on tulossa hyvä yleisömäärä.
- vielä kun saatais roskat lakaistua pois ja tilalle muutama vahvistus.

Leeds United look set to receive a third offer from Middlesbrough for striker Ross McCormack with the Teesside club convinced that they can tempt United into a sale.
But Leeds plan to hold firm against further pressure having rejected two bids from Boro and another offer submitted by fellow Championship side Blackpool.
Blackpool appear to have admitted defeat in their pursuit of McCormack following an unsuccessful joint bid for the Scotland forward and winger Aidan White which amounted to a fee in excess of £1million.
Boro, however, are refusing to give up on McCormack, despite seeing Leeds turn down an improved offer of £1.3million earlier this week. The club’s manager, Tony Mowbray, had previously attempted to secure McCormack with an initial valuation of £1million but sources in the north east indicate that Boro remain optimistic of forcing Leeds’ hand.
United are unlikely to buckle, though, with boss Brian McDermott adamant that the 26-year-old will not leave Elland Road before the end of the transfer window.
McDermott dismissed talk of McCormack’s exit as a “non-story” last week, saying: “I’ve spoken to Ross and we put it to bed between us

Itse toivon että Diouf ei lähde, on ollut meillä kuitenkin todella hyvä.

Norris ja Drury saa mennä ja myös Pughista pitäisi päästä eroon. Nämä 3 kun saataisiin syömästä palkkakuluja niin ehkä saataisiin 1-2 pelaajaa tilalle.

Ehkä myös Ryan Hallin voisi pistää pihalle. Mies ei kyllä tosin hirveästi näyttöpaikkoja ole saanut mutta taso ei ehkä taida ihan riittää. Palkka tuskin on kuitenkaan kovin suuri.

Minä voisin jopa harkita Aidan Whiten myymistä. Ei ole oikein paikkaansa löytänyt mutta hänestä voisi saada jopa hyvänkin siirtokorvauksen. Voisi myös tehdä miehen urallekin hyvää kokeilla jossain muualla.

Mahtavaa että Alex Mowatt sai tehtyä eilen debyytin! 18 vuotias juuri Doncasterissa syntynyt kaveri pelasi raporttien mukaan vielä varsin hyvän ottelun.

Alkuvuodestahan junnut pelasi FA YOUTH CUPin ottelun Liverpoolia vastaan, ottelu tuli netistä ja Mowatt oli tuossa matsissa meidän parhaimmistoa.

Chris Dawsonhan teki debyytin jo viime kaudella pian tuon ottelun jälkeen. Nuoria poikia vielä, toivotaan että molemmista olisi iloa tulevaisuudessakin.
Mutta ilmeisen hyvää työtä on Neil Redfearn (u-21/reservit) ja Richard Naylor (u-18) valmentajina tehnyt.


- Wootton teki maalin ja pelasi raporttien perusteella vahvasti. Meneeköhän viikonloppuna avaukseen ja Lees tippuu penkille? Lees on muutaman maaliin johtaneen mokan tehnyt ja sen sijaan Pearce pelannut ehkä hieman varmemmin.

- Reece Wabara pelasi eilen Donnyn paidassa. Man Cityn nuorukaistahan huhuiltiin vahvasti meillekin kesän aikana.

Kyllä tämä siirtoikkuna löi taas lunta niskaan. Ainakaan BBC:n siirtojen mukaan eri saatu mitään kun pahimmat vihulaiset
hommasivat 2-3 pelaajaa. Ei taida rikkailla omistajilla olla rahaa?
