Paha juttu ettei Everton ole tällä kaudella liigan pohjasakkaa niinkuin niin useana kautena aiemmin. Muutoin olisi luvassa taas yksi varma revanssi tyvipään joukkueesta, kun Rooney meitä viime vuoden puolella Elland Roadilla höykytti.

Pitkän kuivan kauden jälkeen odottaisi taas voittotilinkin aukeavan. Chelsea-pelissä oli paljon myönteistäkin, joten ehkäpä Evertonin McBridet sun muut saadaan tällä kertaa pidettyä kurissa ja Kewell paukuttaa tarvittavat maalit. Laitetaanpa hieman riskillä tällä kertaa isommat numerot, ei sitä Jokea muutoin kiinni saa..

edit: Episodi Woodgate veti mielen niin matalaksi että 1-3 -voiton veikkaaminen Leedsille tuntuu tällä hetkellä varsin ylioptimistiselta. Pakkohan tämän kaiken on pelaajiin vaikuttaa. Iltapäivän tiedotustilaisuudestakaan tuskin hyviä uutisia tulee, joten editoin veikkaukseni:

Realismi ei ole synkkyyttä. Everton on ollut pelottavan kova.

Smiffy taistelee puolestamme maalin!
Toinen maalimme tulee taisteluparin "Milner - 'kukasenytolikaan' " omalta osapuoleltamme eli Milneriltä

PS. Kerran selitin englantilaiselle Evertonin kannattajalle mitä Everton saattaisi merkitä fingelskaksi: Sen tiedämme mitä englannin ever on suomeksi ja tiedämme myös mitä -ton pääte tarkoittaa suomeksi, joten Everton = Never
