Leeds United are considering an approach from Norwich City for striker Rob Hulse.
Norwich boss Nigel Worthington has made an initial inquiry over Hulse's availability and is set to return to Elland Road with an official offer for the 26-year-old striker.
Worthington has maintained a firm interest in Hulse since allowing Dean Ashton to move to West Ham United from Carrow Road in January, and the former Crewe trainee has been identified as an ideal partner for Rob Earnshaw next season.
Leeds appear willing to listen to offers for Hulse, who scored 14 goals last season despite struggling with a hip injury, but would look to recoup a sizeable portion of the £1.1m fee they paid to West Brom for the marksman last summer.
Hulse's contract runs for another two seasons, and the attempt by Norwich to prise him away from Leeds may also be hindered by interest from promoted Sheffield United.
Leeds' chief executive officer Shaun Harvey said: "We've been aware of Norwich's interest for some time.
"Any Championship club would be interested in a player of Rob's ability but, as ever, we will make decisions that are in the best interests of the club."

Olisiko Hulse yksi näistä myytävistä "tähdistä"? En kyllä olisi arvannut, eikä sitä vielä lehtien spekulaation varassa viitsi kovin suuria päätelmiä tehdä. Noh, katsotaan mitä ylläreitä siirtomarkkinat tuo - luulisi hankintojen kuitenkin keskittyvän keskikentälle?

Tänään on kaivettu esiin QPR:n Shittu spekulaatioihin. Ei olisi ollenkaan hassumpi, mutta toppariako me metsästettäisiin? Silly season senkun jatkuu...

Blackwelillä on ollut tälläistä kerrottavaa siirtojutuista:

Kevin Blackwell admits that his efforts in the transfer market were beginning to come to fruition.
And he reassured supporters that his first summer signing would be present at Elland Road for the start of pre-season training on July 3.

Blackwell says in the Yorkshire Evening Post: "Things are going to start hotting up over the next seven to 10 days. It's been a little bit frustrating so far because this has been one of the quietest close seasons I can remember. But we will have something finalised in time for the start of pre-season."

Hyökkääjiähän on niin että päät yhteen kolisee, joten ei ihme jos joku/jotkut lähtee. Moorellaahan ei liene käyttöä, joten out. Hulsen myynti taas voisi olla jonkun vielä kovemman korvaajan rahoitusta?

Woody-huhut senkun kiihtyvät ja puhutaan kauden kattavasta lainasta. Kaverihan on jo Leedsissä hoidattamassa/kuntouttamassa itseään ja luonnollinen jatke olisi hommata siellä myös pelikokemusta ennen epsanjaan paluuta. Nyt peukut ja isovarpaat pystyyn 8)

Tällä hetkellä voimakkaimmin ollaan seuraan tuomassa kk-pelaaja Seb Carolea Brightonista. Joidenkin lähteiden mukaan kaverille on jo varattu aika lääkärintarkastukseen, tiedä häntä. Se ainakin on varmaa, että ainakin allekirjoittaneen mielikuvat kaverista ovat täysin olemattomat.

Valmennuspuolella John Carver on päättänyt pysyä seurassa tarjotusta Carlislen managerin hommasta huolimatta.

Daily Mirror kertoo ipswichin Darren Currien (keskikenttä) olevan meidän ostoslistalla ja on siksi lyönyt 2m £:n hintalapun ostolle..

Liian kova hinta mielestäni jos Hulsea tai Killaa yritetään ostaa millillä.. Eikö tuo Darren ole jotain sukua legendaariselle Leeds -tähdelle Tony Currielle joka pelasi meillä about -70 -luvulla?

Veljenpoika.

Tulipa tuossa mieleen, että olin todistamassa kaverin Ipswich-debyyttiä joulukuussa 2004 QPR:ää vastaan. Tuli vaihdosta kehiin, iski kaksi kaappia ja Ipswich vei pinnat mennessään lukemin 2-4. Mutta eipä ole sen jälkeen kummoisiin maalimääriin päässyt.

Viimeaikojen siirtomyllytystä, niin toteutuneita kuin spekulaatioita, jatkavat taas nämä linkitykset:

Tottenham outcast Andy Reid could be set for a £2m move to Championship side Leeds. (Daily Express)

But Reid's former Nottingham Forest team-mate David Prutton, now at Southampton, has failed a medical at Elland Road. (Daily Telegraph)

Tuosta Pruttonistahan on ollut juttua jo siellä täällä, Yorkshire Evening Post taisi kirjoittaa jossain vaiheessa että miehestä kuitenkin tulisi meidän mies ennen siirtoikkunan sulkeutumista. Nähtävästi hiusmurtuma nilkassa? Kaveri kelpaisi kyllä mainiosti, kuin myös Reid.

Nähtävästi osto- ja myyntiliike Leeds United jatkaa vielä kaupankäyntiä:

Leeds United manager Kevin Blackwell expects more transfer activity at Elland Road before the deadline on August 31.

Blackwell is willing to off-load players in order to bring more new faces to the Yorkshire club.

"I'm hoping to do one or two more deals," he told Sky Sports News. "I'm just waiting to see one or two offers I've had, whether they're worth taking or not and, if I can, then I might move the other way. There's possibly one or two more ins and outs."

Kilgallon oli kaiketi kommentoinut pokatessaan lauantaina man of the match -palkintoa sen olevan mahdollisesti hänen viimeisensä Leedsissä??!!??
